APCO Employees Credit Union is excited about our credit card program, including enhanced rewards options, a new online site to view your account, a new credit card design, and electronic statement availability.
Visa is the most accepted credit card worldwide. That means you can use it with confidence anywhere you shop, dine or travel.
Members can simply download an application and solicitation disclosure. Then complete the form, sign it, and mail or bring it to your local branch. Or stop by any of our branches for assistance.
If you have any questions, you may contact us, or you may contact our Call Center at 205-226-6800 or 1-800-249-2726.
Add holiday debt to the unexpected expenses that pop up throughout the year and it’s easy to find yourself overwhelmed. We want to help you alleviate your payment stress by bringing back our Visa Balance Transfer Special that allows you to move your high-interest credit card balance to a lower interest rate credit card from your Credit Union. Transfer Your Balance
January 4, 2021 through June 22, 2021 you will have the opportunity to transfer your high-interest credit card debt to an APCO Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card or Visa Signature Rewards Credit Card. Eligible applicants will receive a special, low 1.99% APR on all balance transfers.
The 1.99% balance transfer interest rate is good for six months, giving you the opportunity to pay off that debt at a MUCH lower interest rate than your current credit card offers. Paying off that debt at 1.99% versus your current interest rate could save you hundreds of dollars or more in interest.

Membership in uChoose Rewards® is free as part of your APCO Employees Credit Union credit card plan. uChoose Rewards allows you to redeem points on your credit card purchases to use toward cash, shopping, travel, event tickets, gift cards and more.
You will start earning points the first time you make a transaction with your credit card. You’ll earn 1.75% on every $1.00 you spend. Plus, you can earn additional points by shopping in-store or online with participating retailers.
Rewards do not apply for cash advances or balance transfers.
A list of participating retailers can be found at uchooserewards.com.
You can access the history of your point activity through uchooserewards.com. You may also log-in by clicking the eCS and uChoose Rewards link inside your Credit Union’s online banking. There you can keep track of the points you’ve earned, and then shop the online rewards catalog when you’re ready to redeem. A Wish List Tracker is also available to notify you when you’ve earned enough points to redeem a specific item.
It can take up to 40 days for your points to be credited to your account. You must first accumulate 1,500 points before you can redeem them.
