18th Annual APCO Employees Credit Union Share the Care Foundation Golf Tournament

$50,000 Raised for Children’s of Alabama

Thanks to the generous support of our Credit Union partners and friends, the 2022 APCO Employees Credit Union Share the Care Foundation Golf Tournament raised $50,000 for Children’s of Alabama, the largest contribution made by this event yet.

As a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, funding is allowed to be used where it’s needed most. Donations are often used to fund research, training, new equipment, and directly support patient care.

“We’ve worked with Children’s of Alabama through our golf tournament for more than 20 years and I’m honored we can play a small role in making a difference for families in our community,” said Derrick Ragland at the check presentation on November 29, 2022.

The APCO Employees Credit Union 18th Annual Share the Care Foundation Charity Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Greystone Golf & Country Club Founders Course in Birmingham, Alabama. Along with this opportunity to play where PGA champions play, this event raised money for our Share the Care Foundation. Our Foundation allows us to “Share the Care” with organizations and not-for-profits benefiting our local communities.
