To our Montgomery Area Friends and Family,

As a precautionary measure, and for the safety of its customers, employees, and the community, Alabama Power made the decision to close the office here in Montgomery. Alabama Power’s offices are closed to public access. Our Credit Union branches inside those facilities are also closed for business until further notice.

We understand and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. While these branches are currently closed, we’re happy to give you the ability to complete your financial transactions from home or with minimal exposure to public surroundings.

As a reminder:
  • Online and Mobile Banking are available 24/7. Log in online at apcocu.org or download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store today.  
  • With the Automated Teller System you can perform transactions on your Credit Union accounts from any telephone. Dial 205-226-6800 or 1-800-249-2726 and select “Automated Teller System” from the options listed. 

Your Credit Union also gives you access to CU Service Centers that are conveniently located near you. You can use your APCO account number and proper identification to cash checks, check balances and make deposits, payments, withdrawals and transfers on your APCO account.

Alabama Power’s offices Downtown and in West Mobile are closed to public access. Our Credit Union branches inside those facilities are also closed for business until further notice.

We understand and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. While these branches are currently closed, we’re happy to give you the ability to complete your financial transactions from home or with minimal exposure to public surroundings.

As a reminder:

Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Crisis, and for the safety of our members and board members, the 2019 APCO Employees Credit Union Annual Meeting originally scheduled for April 2 at 6:30 pm at the Alabama Power Corporate Headquarters auditorium, will now be conducted inside the Main Office in Birmingham on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 5:00 PM. As of close of business on Friday, March 20, 2020, the following branches only offer drive-thru services:

In addition to the above branch lobbies being closed to public access, several of our branches are temporarily closed. They are:

  • Hueytown

  • West Mobile

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We’re happy to offer other additional ways to access your Credit Union account. Our Call Center is still available Monday thru Friday 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Automated Teller System, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and After-Hours Call Center are still available 24/7.     We understand the growing concern surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The health and safety of our members, employees, and community remains our top priority. As we monitor the situation, we wanted to reach out and share the actions APCO Employees Credit Union is taking to keep our facilities safe and clean.

    A clean and safe environment is always important at APCO Employees Credit Union, but as the situation continues to evolve, we have taken additional precautions to ensure we’re serving you and our employees in the safest way possible.

    • Increasing daily deep cleanings and disinfecting of all branches, including workstations, displays and service areas.
    • Ensuring all employees have access to necessary information regarding COVID-19 and health standards set by health protection agencies. We are also providing precautions employees may take to stay healthy and encouraging them to stay at home if they are not feeling well.
    • Setting guidelines for mitigating service interruptions due to COVID-19.

    We’re prepared to navigate the changing landscape surrounding this virus in the coming weeks. While all of our branches currently remain open for business, we’re happy to give you the ability to complete your financial transactions from home or with minimal exposure to public surroundings.
